About Apiary Tools
Free tools built by beekeepers, for beekeepers.
The Story
Apiary Tools started in 2024 because I kept running into the same problem: beekeeping comes with a lot of timing, tracking, and decisions that are hard to manage from memory.
Whether it's figuring out when to check for queen cells after a split, how much syrup to mix, or what happened during the last inspection, I wanted one simple place to keep it all straight.
What started as a few calculators has grown into a collection of tools for hive tracking, inspections, feeding, queen timelines, honey labels, and more.
Who I Am
I'm a beekeeper who knows a little code.
I manage a few hives myself and built Apiary Tools around the things I actually needed. It's not backed by a company or a big team. It's just something I've been building for other beekeepers who might find it useful too.
Based in the USA.
What I Believe
Accuracy Matters
Timelines are based on established research. I show realistic windows, not false precision.
Educational
Every tool explains the why, not just the what. I want to help you understand beekeeping better, not just give you answers.
Simple is Better
I focus on clarity and usability. These tools are designed to work in the bee yard on your phone.
Free for All
I believe beekeeping is important for our world. That's why these tools are free, everyone should have access.
Support the Project
Apiary Tools is free, and I plan to keep it that way as long as I can afford to. If these tools have helped you, consider chipping in a jar of honey to cover the server bills.
